Been a little busy...
This little precious was born on August 1st and is the reason I have stopped blogging. I've actually made a ton of stuff for her that I need to share but I haven't wanted to take away the time I need to spend with my girls. So I'm just saving them all up and hopefully sooner than later I can get back into the flow of things and I'll find some time to post them. Hopefully I'll still have a couple people left to share them with once I finally do :)

Burlap Table Runner...
Then pinned these pre-made ruffles and sewed three rows onto the ends of the runner. And it was finished!!!
I tried to convince her to just let me keep it on my table because it looked so good but she wasn't convinced :).

Saying goodbye to my guest room...
So now that we are having our third little girl it was time to retire the guest room and turn it into a play room. It was my favorite room in the house so I'm sad to see it go. Right now I'm in the middle of transforming it into a fun girly
play room, and I'm excited about how it's turning out. Pictures are coming soon.
I used my grandma's antique hats, gloves, umbrella, and scarfs for decor.
She also let me have these antique pictures.
Farewell.

More Tank Top Ideas...
Here are two more tank top I made by using the same technique as the previous post. Except the one above I arranged the sewn jersey knit circles into a circular flower shape.
The skirt she is wearing was mine that I used for a swim suit cover-up and I just cut off excess material from the side and stitched it back up. I love it on her.
Go HERE for directions on how to make this tank top.

Tank Top Embellishing...
So now that summer is here in AZ its time to get all the tank tops out and have some fun making them cuter for my girls. :) I get mine all from Wal-Mart. They went up in price from $3 to $3.50 ha ha. I have a bunch of jersey knit material that I used. First I cut circles of various sizes.
Next I twisted the center of the circle and sewed over and back of it to give it a little twirly look.
Then I messed around with the lay out until I liked what I saw, and started sewing them individually into place.
After the black ones were all secure I added some smaller pink ones.
My little Ham :).

Infant Car Seat Cover Tutorial help...
So I've always wanted to make a car seat cover and when I found out I was having another girl I knew I needed to find out how to make one. One of the best do it yourself blogs that I have found is called Make it and Love it. This girl is crazy talented and takes the time to show you how to do so many things step by step. I used her car seat tutorial found HERE. Basically you take picture of your old car seat so you can remember what it looks like and then seam rip the whole thing apart, add your fabric, and put it back together. It was very tedious but I love the finished product. :)

Such a cute idea from Running With Glitter, she named them Smeeps. S'mores with peeps for the marshmellows, kids will love them.
I love the glittery eggs against this beautiful grey frame. Jand Jhome tells you how she did it in minutes.
And I love this idea of making your own cherry blossoms. Over at Love of Family and Home she shows you how.

Spring Decor Ideas...
So it's been forever since I posted. I finally feel like a real person again. I'm coming out of the pregnant haze that I go through in the first half of my pregnancies. I'm so happy to say I'm having another girl. My mind is spinning with all the ideas of things I want to make this little baby girl. So hopefully soon I will start accomplishing projects again. :)
Here's a couple of Spring/Easter decor ideas:

At My Name Is Snickerdoodle she shares a tutorial on how to make this tissue paper flower wreath. So fun to know how to make this because you can make it fit any season by changing the color of the tissue paper.
