4th of July Wreath Tutorial...

I bought all of the things I needed for this wreath from Wal-Mart.  They now carry flowers from Better Homes and Gardens so they actually look decent.  I bought 2 with flower stems, 2 red grapes, 1 grapevine wreath, and 1 roll of wired royal blue.
With wire cutters I cut off the stick part of them stem to the flowers.
Then I stuck the ends into the wreath, and they overlapped each other a couple of inches.

Below is what it looked like once I messed around with it and made it look how I wanted it.
Then I took the hot glue and put it where ever I could to get the stems and flowers to stick to the wreath.
Below is finished with hot gluing the flowers.
Then I took wire and wrapped it around the grapes and hot glued them at the same time, but hit the wire by pulling it tight around the wreath.
The ribbon roll I bought was 9 feet long.  I took the very middle and made a loop like below.
Then I would take a loop from each side until I had 7 total.

While holding it together with one hand I used the other to pull it and mess around with it until it looked like below.
Then you can take wire or string and wrap it tight.
Then I hot glued around the string and also glued it to the center of the wreath.  Then I curled the ribbon going down the wreath and dabbed drops of glue under pieces of it to hold it in place.
And that's it!  I bought this flag like below at the dollar store and loved how it looked behind the wreath.
